How the golf outing got started?

The idea for Jeff’s golf outing was realized soon after he was laid to rest in Arlington. Jeff really valued the education and discipline he received from Valley Forge Military College so in his Will he left scholarship money for a cadet of similar character to his own who would be attending the college. The money left was considerable but not enough to sustain a scholarship for a cadet every year. A few of Jeff’s closest friends, with the blessing of his mother and sister, decided they would like to start a golf outing to help raise money for the scholarship fund. The golf outing not only has become a great way to help raise funds for the scholarship fund, but it also symbolizes what Jeff enjoyed most out of life and that is his friends and family. He always liked to have a great time and the golf outing is a great way to get many of Jeff’s closest friends and family to come together to celebrate his life and drink a toast to truly great person. We have kept in mind what Jeff would have wanted and that is a low key, fun filled day where everyone can enjoy themselves, have a drink on Jeff and relive some of the great memories he left us and also create some new ones. Payments to reserve a space in the golf outing should be made online.    Payment can be made in cash on the day of the outing (COST:  $135 per golfer)

$125 per player (if prepaid), $500 per foursome

Included: Round of golf, lunch, buffet dinner, door prizes, and free beer and soft drinks

The 2012 Outing will be held at Five Ponds Golf Course (Warminster, PA) on Saturday, August 4 at 1:00pm.

Hole Sponsorships – ($200) A sign will be placed at a designated hole with your company’s information on it

T-Shirt Sponsor – ($500) Company logo will be put on the t-shirts for the golf outing.  A hole sponsorship sign will also be placed at a designated hole

Dinner Sponsor – ($1000) Recognition of the dinner sponsorship will be  placed at each table.  We will also be recognizing the sponsor at the dinner.  A hole sponsorship sign will be placed at a designated hole as well.
